“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

I have a friend who thinks The Little Prince is the greatest book in the world, and she has collected editions of it in dozens of different languages. It has the distinction of being the most translated novel in the world – it has been translated into more languages than any other novel.

I like it, but I don’t love it, so cannot share my friend’s enthusiasm. Am I really missing something here?? I’d be most interested to know what they are like? Tell me in the comment area below.

I discovered this gem of a book when I was in college. A professor shared a part and when I discovered the part shared came from a book, I had to have the book. It is a book I have read countless times and I have shared it with many. It was my favorite book for decades. I still love it and when I ran across this quote from the book I was reminded of how much I loved the book.
I love the book because it speaks to my heart. It is full of the philosophy of life that I hold most dear.

Isn’t it a wonderful book. I had a friend who collected editions of it in many different languages – it was her favourite book in the world!
