A New Tour to Sicily

Ragusa Ibla, Sicily

I am really looking forward to the literary tours I’ll be leading in 2024, particularly my very first literary tour in Sicily.

It’s so exciting to embark on a brand new tour of a stunning, historically significant location. Strategically located in the Mediterranean, Sicily has been inhabited for over 10,000 years. It became a crossroads of history, a pawn of conquest and empire, and a melting pot for all who came to its shores.

I’m relishing the opportunity to explore this seductive island through a literary lens. There will be places associated with that brilliant Sicilian novel, The Leopard, which seems to sum up everything about that amazing island, plenty of Inspector Montalbano visits, places associated with opera, historic events and visiting writers, and also lots of amazing art – mosaics, frescoes, Byzantine churches, Caravaggios, and so much more. I would love to have you join me for the excitement of this inaugural tour.

It is a long time since I took a tour group to Northern France. The Literary France tour has been updated and had some really special new visits added to the itinerary. It promises to be a gorgeous mix of writers, artists, food and scenery, and I can’t wait to revisit this beautiful part of the world.

Why not spread your wings and come with me to explore the wonders of literature in these enticing locations. Leave a comment.
